ND Job Resources: Bellhop gets movers gigs!
Bellhop helps connect independent contractors with customers who need movers. If you enjoy physical labor and hate being stuck in an office, these jobs might be right for you!
Bellhop jobs fall into these 3 categories:
Hourly Labor: The most common jobs offered where the customer provides the equipment and transportation. Pros (like you) show up to do the heavy lifting.
Complete Home Move: On these jobs, Bellhop provides the truck and equipment. Pros show up to load up the truck, drive to the next location, then unload the truck.
Long Distance Move: On this type of job, Pros show up to load up a Bellhop-provided truck. The truck travels to another city then another group of Pros there unload the truck at the customer's new home in their new city.
Currently Bellhop books movers in 28 states. Check here to see if yours is one of them.

How it works:
Every Bellhop Pro goes through an approval process. This ensures each mover is a high quality individual who the company sees succeeding on and off the job. Once a space opens up in the market and you pass a background check, you will enter the platform as a brand new Recruit.
You’ll have plenty of support on your first two moves that you’ll tackle in the Recruit position. Rely on your Captain (or Lead) to show you the ropes on the move. On your first two moves, you'll be in charge of padding and wrapping.
Once you've completed your first two moves, you'll be sent a short Knowledge Assessment. Once you pass, you'll be a bona-fide Bellhop mover Pro!
Pros get paid every week! Payment for last week's jobs is processed on Tuesdays and will appear in the account on your profile on Fridays.
Each role (recruit, standard, lead, captain) has a specific pay rate. Depending on the role you have for a move, you will be paid at that rate multiplied by the number of hours worked on a move, rounded out to the nearest minute. For example, if base pay is $15/hour and you worked for 3 hours then base pay would be $45 (15x3). Sometimes travel pay is included, get more details at the Bellhop website.
Bonuses: A claim bonus is additional compensation for certain high-priority jobs. You can see if a job has a claim bonus on the job board.
