Got tech skills? Remote work for coders and techies!

Do you have tech skills?  Do you know how to program, code, or develop websites, apps, games, et al?  Then you have marketable skills and companies are looking to fill remote positions with those skills.

And if you don’t have those skills, but think that a tech job might be right for you, there are tons of places to learn the necessary skills, many of them free (more on that at the end of this post).

Best of all, many freelance tech jobs can be done remotely, either from home or anywhere you choose to roam (digital nomads anyone?).

As with any job, the more skills you have, the more in demand you will be and the more money you can potentially make.  But don’t let lack of skills deter you.  There are plenty of entry level tech work jobs available as well.

Do you have already tech skills?

The following companies/services can help you put those marketable skills to use with lucrative freelance work. Depending on the job you can expect some rigorous vetting, so be prepared to prove your skills.
